After the announcement, Apple announced that Microsoft, Adobe, and more bringing apps to the Mac App Store. However, it flashed icons of other apps coming to the store. If you were quick enough, you probably noticed the Snapchat icon located in the top-right corner.
While we imagined that Snapchat also appears after the launch of macOS Mojave, it never did. But with the release of Project Catalyst in macOS, a process makes it quite easy to port iOS apps to Mac. We think that Snapchat also launches on the Mac in the coming months.
Use Snapchat on Mac

Launch Bluestacks on your Mac
For those who don’t know, Bluestacks basically re-creates Mobile devices on Mac. Also, it’s turned on to install any Android app and use it on a PC – a skillful feature to have while using apps on a larger screen.
If you want to get the apps, install the installer from Bluestacks’ website, then follow the on-screen instructions to install the app. However, the app is free to install and use. After you installed it, head over to the program and initiate setting up your mobile device.
Link to your Gmail account
If you want to use Bluestacks, you want to use a mobile device on your Mac. It all done using the program and will need you to sign in to a Google account. If you don’t have a Google account you want to create one.
After you’ve signed into your Google account, simply link it to the Bluestacks application and account.
Install Snapchat
After you set up, simply tap on the Search icon and look for Snapchat on the Play Store. Once installed, head over to Snapchat then sign into your account, just like on iOS devices.
If you don’t have a Snapchat account, simply set on up directly using the Bluestacks emulator.
After you successfully set up Snapchat you can use it to view the snaps of your loved ones. You can also share pics if you have a webcam on your MacBook. If you don’t happen a functional webcam, you’ll receive several pop-ups informing you to connect a camera. If you want to get rid of the warnings repeatedly tap the Cancel button and the warning will disappear.
